Took the Last Pill Yesterday 6/3/15 The Wait Begins
« on: June 04, 2015, 12:53:34 pm »
I took my last pill yesterday and do one final test today, then it's a wait till the 4 week post treatment test. After showing positive for the virus, after 2 or 3 weeks off the 3 prior interferon treatments, this 4th week post test will be the big test in my mind. If the 4 week post TX test shows a negative result, Im pretty sure the other two test, in September & December, will be a piece of cake. The one positive thing about this treatment, that I keep in mind, is that the Harvoni dropped my viral load from 12,043,488 copies down to less then <15 in 14 days. That's just over 860,000 copies a day. I thought that was pretty good.

I'm on my way to the last test now. While I'm there, I'm going to find out where my results are from the last test I took on May 21st. I still haven't got the Quantative back yet.
Pre Tx (VL 12043488) ALT 52/ AST 39
Harvoni Start Date 03/12
2 Week in Tx Results HCV RNA Detected, less than 15 IU/mL. ALT 19 / AST 19
4 Weeks in Tx Results HCV RNA Not detected. ALT 21 / AST 18
12 Week in Tx Results HCV RNA Not detected. ALT 17 / AST 19
--------------------------------------------------------------
Post 12 Week EOT Tx ALT 19/ AST 19 (Undetected)
