Harvoni and Diabetes
« on: June 25, 2015, 08:01:39 am »
Hi everyone, I am wondering if anyone has a reversal or lowering of Diabetic BG's since starting Harvoni.  I have had diabetes since 1984. Progressing through pre-diabetes, Type 2 and then on to type 1.5 or basically type 1.  I am insulin dependent and I am using a pump.  What been happening is that I started to have better A1C's, I am hungry more often and lots of lows.  I saw my GI and he said that no one complained about this and at 1st I thought that it was the the Harvoni.  I changed my GP and she said it was because my liver was functioning better.  This was something I had thought about also.  I am on my 13th week of a 24 week regime.  I went undetected at week 8.  Has anybody had similar experience?  Mind you, I'm not complaining.

That's great news to me, dave. I start Harvoni today. Lost a brother to diabetes in '05, had type II ever since.

This is one of the many reasons I believe in miracles. I have seen and experienced too many not to.
