Hello, I always read your posts, about new treatment and side effects, now I start with Harvoni for 24 weeks no Riba.
Here, in Italy , the new therapy ( Harvoni and Veikira pak) arrived only one month ago, and there are many problem for approve the therapy by  public health care ( no money).
I fought for this, many people are waiting invane from many months for the first therapy sovaldi+ riba and sovaldi+ simeprevir....
I hope for my therapy and i think Harvoni is the right side for my hcv f4.

Hcv since 1986
2003 peg inf.+ riba nullrespond.
Genotype 1a
Fibroscan 18,1  F4
Viral load 3800000

and welcome to this forum.  Lots of good people here with lots of information!

It is hard to get approved for these drugs here (U.S.) as well.  Took me a month of phone calls and I have what is considered "good insurance" that I have paid into for years.

Thank you for joining this community. Your English is much better than my Italian. I'm glad the wonderful new therapies are now available in Italy.

I'm F4 also and have been taking Harvoni for more than six weeks already. It will probably cure us both. I hope it as easy on you as it has been on me, but if not, coraggio!
