Today is the day....Get-er-done!
« on: October 11, 2015, 07:12:53 pm »
I was advised to start a new thread even though I've posted some of this already so here goes....Started Harvoni today for 12 weeks..Treatment naive..F2 and stable liver test results....Treatment from the VA...I'm a paraplegic on VA home-care...Likely contracted HepC from contact with fresh blood while in the service or maybe those dang air-gun vac shots in boot camp...Served 1971-75...Diagnosed 12 years ago but waited for a gentler treatment to come along...Anyway, nothing but a minor headache this first day so far but compared to the nasty side-effects of the drugs I'm already taking Havoni seems no biggie. ..One down and 83 to go but I got this..

You will get through this, because it is so worth getting through. Stick with the program :)

You've posted this in the Post Treatment section - do you want it here or would you prefer it in the On Treatment section where more people will see it?

Welcome. :) How long are you treating for? I've done 24 weeks of the VPak/Riba tango. I'm 7 weeks post treatment now. Results were good at 2 weeks post, so here's hoping they stay that way for 12 weeks post and svr12

Hey Kim,

Click on a category like "living with Hepatitis" on the main Hep C page.  There you will see where to start a new topic.  Cant be found on main page.  This is likely because they want us to keep in correct categories.  Good luck.
