Sovaldi + Daklinza - last pills gone; EOT officially starts!
« on: December 09, 2015, 10:20:53 pm »
I took my final dose today!  I feel both wonderfully free and a bit anxious at the same time.  Don't get me wrong...I have been patiently waiting for this day.  To be free of the daily med box routine - the double checking to make sure I didn't miss a dose.

My journey has been relatively easy compared to others.  My initial denial was overturned on the first appeal.  I had few and very mild sides.  I am truly grateful for this experience.  I've learned a lot about myself.  I learned to appreciate the little things and the special people in my life.

I want to give a special thanks to everyone on this forum.  I've learned from you, and felt supported by your words.

Thanks Kim.  I remember your sage words of encouragement early on when I was struggling for insurance approval.  Very much appreciated!

Celebrating another victory today...I just heard from my Hepatologist's office and my viral load remains negative 4 weeks post tx!  Next labs are scheduled for 12 and 24 week post tx.

Hoping to see many, many more are cured in 2016!!

Excellent, Mary! You're pretty much home free. I think 98.6% who achieve SVR4 also achieve SVR12.
