Just saw this news on Zepatier!! Also, for anyone who needs a dose of hope, go to Hepmag's homepage under "Most Viewed" on the right, and read the article, "2016 Hepatitis C drug Approval Outlook" dated 1-15-16.  THIS IS GOING TO BE THE YEAR FOR A LOT OF US!!!!!

***** A new and very important recommendation for treatment with this new drug is pre-treatment testing for NS5A polymorphisms.  I got into an argument with my doctor about the benefit of this before starting any of the available drugs for GT1 and he thought I was crazy........ there is going to be more specific testing done before any of these are prescribed in the very near future, IMHO. Thanks for posting, FT
