How are your platelets doing?

For me that is the only test I have not in normal range but somewhat improved from 90 to 110 with 150 being min normal

Anyway congrats again!

Hey Eric.  This is really excellent and heartwarming news.  I know how hard you worked to get there, so a mighty congratulations is in order.  I would like to know how you have been feeling post treatment.  You sound pretty darn chipper!

Alt & Ast nearly 100
Viral load over 8 million
Gt 3a

Treated 12 weeks with Sovaldi & Daklinza, start date mid-April 2016
Undetected at 4 weeks into treatment
Alt & Ast  normal
Treatment completed July 14
Most likely will be undetected at 12 weeks (mid October 2016) as symptoms are gone

Harvoni X 12 weeks, completed 5/17/16
Pre-treatment: VL 3 mil, AST 64, ALT 84
4 week labs: VL 30, AST 21, ALT 14
8 week labs: VL UD!!!, AST 22, ALT 16
12 week labs: VL UD, AST 23, ALT 14
2 wk EOT: VL UD
12 wk EOT: VL UD, AST 22, ALT 13 =  SVR 12! Yay! 
Last hep appointment: VL UD, AST 19, ALT 12 = SVR 39! I AM DONE!

Doc says I could survive a triple bypass LOL. 124 At EOT didn't bother with them after 6 months eot because they never dipped during tx they only increased. They got to a low of only 105 so they were not that bad even though I am F4 it looks like non of the other horrors like acites or bile duck quacking and cracking is going to happen TOUCH WOOD!


So my cirrhosis was early F4 with the platelets just starting to nose dive. I am one lucky camper another 6 months or another bought of the flu or whatever and I might have seen the dark side of cirrhosis.
