stuck with a yucca plant outside a gay bar.
« on: May 14, 2016, 03:57:28 am »
I was stuck by a yucca plant the other night outside of a gay bar, lots of people were going by this yucca plant to get to their cars. I walked by the yucca and it went into my leg, my sock and leg were covered with blood and the area swelled up that night. I know the risk is probably small but Gay men tend to have higher numbers and many people pass that same yucca daily. I was cured with Harvoni last year and this has me wondering if somebody with hepc got stuck and then I got stuck am I at risk?

For health care workers who experience an accidental needle stick involving a patient with known hep c the risk is estimated to be 1.8% obviously yours would be significantly less than that
