Epclusa ribavirin
« on: November 06, 2016, 03:50:08 pm »
Hi i was wondering if anyone has gotten jaundice while on Eplusa and Ribavirin?
Ive been on treatment for around three weeks and it seems that just in the last few days ive got a yellowish tinge to my skin and eyes.
I read somewhere that the Ribavirin lowers your hemoglobin levels which can cause the jaundice , my last bloodwork my bilrubin was 45 i think and my hemaglobin was around 100. needless to say ill be phoning the nurse at the clinic  on Monday. thanks!!!

Hi! Welcome to the forum! I am on Epclusa only, so I would bet it's the riba. Have you had jaundice before treatment? That is a symptom of hep c. I haven't heard of any problems like that with Epclusa. Please check with your doctor soon!
