6 years ago I was banned from this board because my mother died from taking Solvadi and Olysio.  I was blocked and banned from many IP's.  Noone wanted to hear the truth of my story.

... but I will never ever go away from telling the truth of how my Mom suffered that summer taking that drug.

She died... today is 6 years she had a massive stroke to her brainstem that paralyzed her completely.  She died 7 days later.

I expect to be banned and blocked again by the nasty nurse that moderates this forum... but you can rest assure, I will never go away and I will never ever stop telling my story.

We are sorry for your loss, but this is not the place to argue FDA approvals. Maybe it was an adverse reaction, or maybe it wasn't. That lovely nurse has retired, and helped more people than you can count. We are not here to defend a drug but also not here to condemn a drug - that is between patient and their doctor. We are here to support people trying to beat this terrible virus. There are other ways to express your anger, but not here.

I'm sorry for your loss.

As I recall, and with all due respect, your mother was in her 80's and had numerous comorbid conditions. There wasn't then, nor is there today, clinical data that links   Solvadi and Olysio to stokes. There is, however, amble data suggesting a link between age and stroke.

Again, I'm sorry for loss.

Best wishes, Mike
