Antibody positive
« on: November 06, 2014, 09:01:57 pm »
I tested HCV Antibody positive and have been waiting for my results from the viral load test. I had my blood drawn a week ago. Is it normal for it to take this long and should I be worried? I am so scared and the anxiety of not knowing is killing me. I have five kids and I am worried that the last three may have been exposed at birth if I do indeed have HCV. I suspect that I was exposed while working as a CNA.

Yes, viral load results seem to take forever.

On Monday I finally received the call from my doctor and she says my viral load came back at zero! I am so relieved :)
