End of treatment results
« on: December 10, 2014, 03:23:11 pm »
After 24 weeks on Sovaldi/Riba I am so happy to report that my blood tests were UNDETECTABLE!!!

I am on the way to being cured! Now I wait the 3 months until my next blood work and then I can finally say that I am CURED! Feeling very confident!

Very best wishes to all of you who are following behind me.

Hello everyone.  I got my 3  month results and I made it into the SVR12 club! I'm still numb.  I was shaking so badly opening that email.  I didn't recognize my emotional investment.  I thought I was detached.  But today I feel free.

I'm geno type 1a. Oops I was geno type 1a.  Diagnosed 7 years ago.  Failed treatment 7 years ago after injections weekly for a year.  No cirrhosis or scarring.  All labs stayed within normal limits prior to treatment.  I completed 12 weeks on ribavirin,  solvaldi and weekly Interferon injections.  This time around side effects were very mild.  I was more energetic and everyday my emotional and energy levels improve.  Even til today.  Looks like insurance companies are starting to fight against cost and coverage.  I'm grateful.  Unbelievably grateful.  Now I don't have to count the days.  Praying for everyone and encouraging everyone to get treated.
