Harvoni
« on: January 26, 2015, 12:14:58 pm »
Hi everyone,
I will be starting my 12 week treatment of Harvoni tomorrow and would like to know a little about side effects. I am very bust during the day with work and I am wondering if I will be able to take my meds at night, lets say 7:00 PM after dinner.
I hear that Harvoni makes some people tired. Any help with this would be great.
Thank you,
Dragonkiller

Assuming you started treatment, how's it going?

Welcome Dragonkiller!

I'm on day 64 of my 12 week Harvoni treatment and have only few sides occasionally, not even sure they really are from the Harvoni.  Hep C virus can make us tired but I'm not sure the med actually does.  I take my wonder drug at 6:00 PM every day and have my cell phone alarm set to remind me.  Be sure to drink LOTS of water, rest if you're tired (some people actually have more energy on Harvoni), listen to your body, eat healthy as you can.  I think you can basically expect that if you handled your busy schedule well before, you shouldn't see much change.  If you have a bit of headache from time to time, one or two 325 mg Tylenol should be all you need.  Good luck and keep us posted.  ....Islandgirl
