Hi all,

I was treated with interferon and ribavirin a year ago. Even though the side effects were terrible, I finished the treatment. I relapsed 4 weeks after. I started a new treatment yesterday. I am on Sovaldi/Ribavirin for 12 weeks. This forum is a godsend. It really helps to read about other people going through the same ordeal you do. Also, neither doctors nor nurses told me about side effects management. I found a lot of tips that are very useful here. Thank you!!

Hi Peanut,

This treatment should be a breeze compared to the old 48 weeks of Interferon and Ribavirin.

Best wishes, Mike

Thank you for your wishes, Mike!

It is nice to know you are doing well with your treatment, Pensativo. Your positivity is comforting. Thank you for the encouragement!  It is only my second day but so far I am doing pretty well. I drink lots of water and include fat in my meals before taking Ribavirin.

We will get rid of that intruder!!
Best wishes,
