Limbs cold as ice
« on: March 01, 2015, 11:16:25 pm »
What can be done when your limbs are very cold and they go numb very easy ?  Its very painful   I have had radial nueropathy and lost the use of my left hand 2 times in 3 years.
My doc acted like i just got drunk and just got a case of saturday night palsy . You would think as a so called healthcare proffesional and the fact I have hep c, pct and hh and global cardiomyapathy its a litte more to it.

Sounds kind of like a circulatory issue.

Have you applied heat to the limbs? If so, what happens (numbness turns to pain)?

Are there changes in skin color when this occurs?

Are there any antecedents that occur prior to the onset (stress, exposure to cold air or temperature changes)?

There are no antecedants it pretty much constant. My girlfriend said its like crawling into bed with a corpse.(ugghh) I see a doc tomorrow ,  thats number one on the list for him to adress
I don't think that he's got anything in his bag of tricks for it but phlebotomy if he even knows it yet himself. I'm terrified it's going to be like it was before I got diagnosed which was the hh was not detected until my heart was already severly damaged and the pct was so bad I had bulle and other sores all over me and they had to dig a little deeper in the well if you know what I mean.
