Hi and welcome to the forum

Harvoni is only approved to treat Genotype 1 per the prescribing information sheet

http://www.gilead.com/~/media/Files/pdfs/medicines/liver-disease/harvoni/harvoni_pi.pdf

"FULL PRESCRIBING INFORMATION
1 INDICATIONS AND USAGE
HARVONI is indicated for the treatment of chronic hepatitis C (CHC) genotype 1
infection in adults."

Per the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) Recommendations for Testing, Managing, and Treating Hepatitis C

Initial Treatment Box. Summary of Recommendations for Patients Who are Initiating Therapy for HCV Infection by HCV Genotype

http://www.hcvguidelines.org/full-report/initial-treatment-box-summary-recommendations-patients-who-are-initiating-therapy-hcv

Recommended regimen for treatment-naive patients with HCV genotype 3 infection.

Daily sofosbuvir (400 mg) and weight-based RBV (1000 mg [<75 kg] to 1200 mg [>75 kg]) for 24 weeks is recommended for treatment-naive patients with HCV genotype 3 infection.

Alternative regimens for treatment-naive patients with HCV genotype 3 infection.

Daily sofosbuvir (400 mg) and weight-based RBV (1000 mg [<75 kg] to 1200 mg [>75 kg]) plus weekly PEG-IFN for 12 weeks is an acceptable regimen for IFN-eligible, treatment-naive patients with HCV genotype 3 infection.

There could be some on clinical trials with Harvoni I do not know but currently Harvoni is not an approved treatment for Genotype 3. Currently Sovaldi Plus Ribavirin for 24 weeks is the approved treatment for this genotype
