Harvoni headaches
« on: March 28, 2015, 09:39:09 am »
Anybody else having them?  I don't normally suffer from headaches. I've been on harvoni for about 12 days now and the only side effect so far is headache. It's hot a pounding headache, more like a slight ache that always seems to be there .

Hi Tigger, 3 weeks on Havoni for me.  That's the only symptom I've noticed with me.  I've gotten a headache about 2-3 times so far.  I've read to stay hydrated and that helps immensely.  I'm not a water drinker, so its a struggle to stay hydrated, but I notice that when I drink enough water, I don't get the headache.  So I think its key to make sure to drink water....

Thanks for your reply, I'm also having a hard time drinking enough water, and I'm having headaches everyday.

Sufficient water helps with headaches. I also took an occasional Tylenol - one 500 mg tab did the trick, and I never got close to the 2000 to 3000 mg max for safe acetaminophen use.
