Feeling better after Harvoni start
« on: April 01, 2015, 02:58:11 pm »
I struggled with headaches and stomach issues for the first couple weeks, now I'm 3 weeks into my harvoni treatment and feeling good!  I have so much more energy - I'm hopeful that this means the virus is slowly and surely being killed!  Anyone else feeling this way?  I'm very thankful for the outcome thus far.

My first two weeks were the roughest: stomach cramps, headaches, loose stools, crashing blood sugar, the whole nine yards. At the same time, I went through periods of high energy. Week 3, things leveled off. Still get tired at times and in Week 7 feeling funky in a whole new way. But it sounds like you've gotten through the baptism by fire that happens when Harvoni is snuffing out that dragon fire. Hang in there. Be kind to yourself. Drink water and more water and rest as often as you can.

Water--I drink a 16 ounce glass every 2 hours. It's one of the best things you can do!
:)
