Hep B Jab prevents Athlete's Foot?
« on: April 01, 2015, 09:58:34 pm »
I was told that the Hep B vaccination, if taken at a young age, would prevent one from getting Athlete's Foot (HPV virus), is this true please?

Hep B Vaccination prevents Hepatitis B.

Athlete's foot is not a virus.

HPV is Human papillomavirus the HPV vaccine is recommended for young girls to prevent cervical cancer in the future.

Where did you hear this information? It seems a bit confusing as to what you may have heard and what are asking.

Just a girl on the bus.

I really wish there was a cure for it, but because it's not life threatening it doesn't get any attention.

I thought that a Hep jab might do it?

They are completely unrelated medically as I mentioned above.

Athlete's foot is not a virus and HPV is a different medical condition which has nothing to do with Athlete's foot.

I doubt a "girl on a bus" should be considered a medical authority.

Athlete's foot is a fungal Infection and eminently curable.

Here is a link to web MD on the subject of Athlete's foot:

Get some Lotrimin and if you need more help see your doctor
