Today was last Pill
« on: May 12, 2015, 09:49:06 am »
This morning I finished 12 weeks of Harvoni,  I was kinda sad popping the last pill.  I was also praying the virus is gone for good.  I will get blood tomorrow and then in 12 weeks which is the real numbers I'm looking forward to.  The side effects of harvoni really diminished weeks 10-12 to almost non existent.  Weeks 1-9 1x week bad migraine and nausea but nothing compared to INTF/RiBR...Just praying for better results.  Everyone thanks for the support This forum helped me through this...Being able to identify with others is comforting.  No one else really understands what we go through. BUT hopefully we will all be cured and we can put another log on the fire......I'll keep everyone poisted of the bllod results as I receive them....Drink LOTS of water, for me staying busy helped keep my mind off this demon...

Bob, Debula's sig says shes treatment experienced and, with fibrosis score of F4, shes got cirrhosis.     Gilead lists 24 wks as the protocol for those stats:

Patient Population Recommended Treatment Duration
Treatment-naïve with or without cirrhosis 12 weeks*
Treatment-experienced** without cirrhosis 12 weeks
Treatment-experienced** with cirrhosis 24 weeks
