Hep C Treatment with Parkinson's disease
« on: April 02, 2015, 08:49:13 pm »
Is anyone out there treating who also suffers from Parkinson's (PD)?  I'm on my fifth day of Harvoni and ribavirin.  I feel extremely fatigued and my PD symptoms seem to be quite exacerbated. Miserable.

Hi Devrick. I just noticed your post, which is now about 6 weeks old. Can you update us? How are you doing on the Harvoni+Ribavirin? You must be in Week 7 now. How is the effect on your PD? Sometimes it seems that some of the side effects stabilize and even go away after an initial bout of sides as the body gets used to new chemistry going into it daily. I hope your treatment journey is not proving to be too hard on you! You are, in all likelihood, on your way to being cured of Hep C.

Best,
kim
