Hi All,

I am 60 year old male with Heptiatis C on the 24 week Solvadi and Ribviron. My Meld score keeps rising because my bilirubin increase everytime i go to the doctor . Is anyone else experiencing this ? How can I lower my MELD score or my bilirubin. Please help.

Hi Lightraman and welcome to the forum

It is just one of the sides of ribavirin it is just temporary. I am sure your doctor is monitoring your results.

My bilirubin before treatment was usually around 0.8 mg/dL
and now is 1.2  mg/dL top end of normal at least it was on 3/17/14. I haven't been tested since then. I am a 57 y/o Female just for reference and treating for 24 weeks Harvoni with Ribavirin.
