SVR12!
« on: April 10, 2015, 04:22:33 pm »
For all those who had low detectables at EOT, here's real world proof, along with the study published in the Oxford Journal referred to on these pages.. Just got a call from my doctor.. Undetected at 11 wks post treatment,  which shall serve as my SVR12 result. This, after testing Detected 29 at EOT!  I havent seen the lab paper result yet with my own eyes, but for now, this will more than suffice!!   We shall restest at 24 wks and again at 48 just to make sure late relapse isnt occurring, but this is about the best news I could get.. I even got official permission to go have a beer!

So, Katie, Dee Dee, and anybody else testing low level detected at EOT... Your day shall come soon!

Thanks to everyone who convinced me not to jump to negative conclusions due to my low detected result at EOT. You helped me immeasurably keep the faith and wait for future labwork, which wound up belying the EOT result.

Best of luck to everyone here.. Harvoni really is a miracle worker.

We have heard about this phenomenon on forum posts and even got it straight from some of our Moderators and had access to official links to scholarly articles and still it seemed too good to be true.

This is the proof to me because it happened for Dragonslayer. Thank you thank you for posting and congratulations. I can not even imagine the stress you have been through while waiting eleven weeks and not knowing.

Enjoy that beer for all of us. Cheers!

NOT DETECTED  - SVR12
I got my call late yesterday afternoon from the doctors office about my 12 week
post Harvoni test.
Not Detected and all other tests normal. Thrilled, ecstatic!
I started 12 weeks of Harvoni just 2 weeks after the FDA approved it.

It worked. I have been on pins and needles since my last HVC test was done one month into treatment and it was detected at that time.
Paul (dragonslayer) - Congratulations on your results. New life.
