Just joined - starting Harvoni in July
« on: May 07, 2015, 07:28:01 pm »
I was diagnosed with Hep C in 1992, but probably contracted it in the early 60's. I'm at stage F3, but have been very lucky for more than 50 years--no major symptoms. I was accepted at UCSF's liver clinic last year, and will hopefully get rid of the virus this year. I'll be on a 12-week course of treatment there. I have major spinal disease, but it's stable. If I can free my liver of this thing, I'll be in quite good shape. I'm just starting to research Harvoni, and this forum looks like a wonderful source for me. I'm glad I found it.

Thanks--I'll be using this forum a lot. I was hoping to be through Harvoni by now, but UCSF wants me to wait until I return from a five-week trip to Europe that we've planned of months. I feel pretty good, but I'd feel better if I didn't have the Hep C to worry about. . . .
