Started Harvoni
« on: May 24, 2015, 12:46:52 pm »
Day 4 of 12 week regimen. No side effects, yet.

Genotype 1, infected in 1983. No previous treatments. No liver biopsies as I am a hemophiliac. Liver at stage 1 (as shown on ultrasound).
It is not enough I should win. Others should lose.

Welcome to the journey kingharry! Good luck on treatment. You will, in all likelihood be cured by the end of it. Keep us posted. I am on Day 20 of 12 weeks of Harvoni+Ribavirin, and no significant side effects - unless feeling better can be counted as a side effect. ;)

Thanks Meg! I realize I may have some fatigue & tiredness ahead of me because of the anemia with ribavirin. But I am feeling very thankful that the other Harvoni/Riba sides that seem to be affecting some people so severely have not presented themselves in my first 3 weeks. Just 9 more weeks to go! Quite the journey and really nice to be on it with a community of people who understand how much it means. :)
