about to finish week 11 of Harvoni have strange pain
« on: June 14, 2015, 06:20:58 pm »
9 more days to go on my Harvoni treatment. But in the last few days I've had pain  in my liver area. I've also had a feeling like fluttering in that same area. All this time with having Hep C I've never felt anything in the area of my liver. Anyone else notice a change with how the liver area feels?

Yes, I had exactly what you described.  I too, never had any sort of pain in the liver area.  I just sort of dismissed it & chalked it up to Harvoni doing its job (I hope!).  It happened to me for a few weeks I believe around week 8-9. I finished treatment on 6-5 & have had no other pain at all.  Just a few headaches that I will attribute to stressful events with family & work.  Hopefully, the liver area pain will subside for you as well.  You might want to report that to your doctor.  Mine was actually very slight...more of an annoyance.

Thanks for your reply Karen. It's not a bad pain as you said it's just there and was never there before. I see and it comes and goes. I see my Dr. next week at the end of treatment. I'll mention it to him. I'm sure he will shrug it off.
