Vibrio infections fish tank

Hello all..i am aware of vibrio from raw oysters and i know that it is also in saltwater reef aquariums.  My doctor said it was ok for me to stay in the hobby but im super scared about getting this!  Anyone else out there have hepc and a reef tank??

4 wk labs... Undetected!!!!!!!
8 wk labs.....Undetected!!!!!
12 wk labs.....(really 14 weeks. Taken 2 weeks post treatment)  Undetected!!!!!
24 wk labs.   Undetected!  Cured!

I know nothing about this being in tanks, but if you don't have cuts on your arms and hands, or wear gloves when you immerse your hands, seems to me that would take care of it.
