End of 23rd week Harvoni
« on: July 29, 2015, 07:34:01 pm »
This is the end of my 23rd week of Harvoni.  Monday Aug. 3rd will begin my last week.  SVR at 4 weeks, 8 & 12 weeks.  I am being cautiously optimistic as I relapsed last year on 12 weeks of Solvadi/Olysio.  According to my new doctor at Penn, had I remained on Solvadi/Olysio last year for 24 weeks I probably would have cleared.  I get blood work done two weeks after end of treatment and then a consult at Penn for further info.  I tolerated the treatment very well but have had concentration/focus issues.  Am looking forward to beating this horrible disease and getting on with living.

Great to hear, Chino1969! Good luck to you in your last week. Sounds like you will be cured this time!

Thank you Kim.
It will certainly be a game changer as it was always in the back of my mind.
