Almost 3 months post treatment with Harvoni!!
« on: August 07, 2015, 11:41:15 pm »
:) I am almost 3 months post treatment! I took Harvoni for 12 weeks and all my blood results thus far have looked good, negative!! I go next week for my last test (well at least for a while anyway)! I hope it's still negative so I can continue on my journey to getting on the donor list for a new heart and liver. Wish me luck!

CONGRATULATIONS, 575to505! Glad you're feeling good and can now get on the donor list.
Please also post your SVR12 to this thread: "After tx (POST) 4wk or 12 wk SVR results (Harvoni only) - CHECK IN HERE PLEASE!"  (http://forums.hepmag.com/index.php?topic=2665.new;topicseen#new)
The more accurate that tally can be about real-world results, the better.

Sorry about that. SVR12 means you have had a Sustained Virologic Response as measured 12 weeks after treatment ended. In other words, your Viral Load came back undetected 12 (or, in your case, 13) weeks post treatment, so you are considered cured.

There's a forum thread entitled "After tx (POST) 4wk or 12 wk SVR results (Harvoni only) - CHECK IN HERE PLEASE!" that is keeping track of who has an undetected Viral Load 4 weeks post treatment (some doctors test then), and who has an undetected Viral Load 12 weeks post treatment. If you click on the link I provided, you'll go to that forum thread. You can then post your good news there, so that you'll be counted among the cured.
