Just started Harvoni two days ago. Not much off sides effect. If you're considered cured can you donate blood?

Welcome, Richelieu. Glad you've been free of sides. Once you're cured, you'll still always test positive for antibodies to Hep C. Unfortunately, the blood bank can't afford to do a Viral Load test to prove that you are cured, so your donation wouldn't be used. There are plenty of other ways you can do good things for others once this disease is behind you. Best wishes with the rest of your treatment.

I just got my labs back today for 4 weeks...uggggg...still detected but she said it was less than 12...whatever that means

blood donation is better for people whitout hcv....Our blood , for me , it's no good for donation.

No, when you are cured your blood is NOT still infected, so you cannot infect someone else. You will always test positive for antibodies to Hep C, but antibodies aren't the virus -- the virus itself has been eradicated.
   After being cured, the only way you could infect someone else is if you yourself have become REinfected because someone else with Hep C has infected you. You are probably going to be very careful NOT to let that happen; therefore, the answer to your question is NO.

That means you have 12 or less copies of the virus in your blood. What was your viral load when you started the treatment?  That's a Good Thing!!!! Your next blood test should show Undetected and at the least <12 again. You should be happy about that.

Let me edit this.

Your sig. shows  13.9 million. I thought I was high at 12043488.
That's roughly 496000 copies a day being killed off. That's real good news.
