12 weeks post treatment with Viekira and Ribavirin.
Would like to share my experience and hopefully hear a few reassuring comments.  Am undetectable at 4 weeks and just got blood taken today for 12 weeks post. My problem is post Tx side effects. Had the itchys and insomnia during Tx - pruritus gone but my insomnia has only intensified and am now taking Omeprazole for acid reflux.  Have had to stop work for a while but actually worked during my treatment.     Taking Ambien but hate taking medications and I miss my naps on the couch with the dog.      These side effects eventually go away right?

Hi Rick369,
as you probably know, evryone reacts differently to these meds. I took omeprazole while on treatment but stopped after treatment. I would eat a couple of saltine crackers before bed or when I felt a bit acidy and that took care of the problem. at 12 weeks post treatment I can now sleep, but on some days I stay up later than normal because I am just too awake to fall asleep. This is slowly subsiding. hopefully these sides will subside for you too. I have read on these forums that it can take some people months to return to normal. Take it day by day. Here's to 12 weeks undetected and cured. I just reached that milestone myself - what a great feeling.
All the best to you, Prudence
