I have blood work in the past and never got a hbsag positive, until last week my doctor called me and told me I had hep b.  The test showed I have + for hbsag and negative for hep b core ab igm.  I been googling for the past week and all points to chronic hbv.  So sad and scared that I will die from liver disease soon.  Going to see a Gi/liver doctor on the first week of January.  I have three kids and a wife,  and scared I will not be here for them in the near future due to liver disease/cancer.  We both got our blood done to test specifically for hep b, last week.  I never cheated or used drugs, and no mentions of of hep b was ever mentioned when my kids were born, since they test pregnant women.  Maybe I got it when I was a kid or something, and it's just showing up now, if that's possible.  Worrying like crazy, and scare that I ll be dead from liver cancer in 10,20, or 30 years.  Any know leg of hep b would be grateful.  Thanks for letting me vent.
