Harvoni 12wk post treatment ,get final results today
« on: November 23, 2015, 06:55:44 am »
Feeling physically good but very nervous to hear the results. The Harvoni was so easy to tolerate and a relatively quick course. My first go around was with peg/reb in 2006 it wasn't so nice and I failed treatment with that old regime.
I still have that playing in my mind especially today , I see my specialist at 9 this morning . Please wish me luck
 Joe

Hi, Joe -- just letting you know I am indeed wishing you luck. Your anxiety is natural for anyone but especially for someone who failed a prior treatment. Fortunately, your odds are vastly better with Harvoni. -Gnatty

Talk about being stressed, I got to the hospital yesterday only to find that my appointment had been rescheduled to this morning at 9:30am. I'm writing this in the waiting  room at the hospital out patient  clinic . Waiting to go in and get my results. Thanks for all the support and  positive words.

Well the news is "NOT DETECTED " or SVR  (Sustained viral response )
I cant believe it , I think it will take a few days to appreciate what this all means.
Thanks for your thoughts well wishes.
Stay positive there is a cure .
Take care
 Joe

That's GREAT Joe! I know, it took me a while to absorb the full significance of the SVR12 news when I received mine last month. In fact, I don't think I really have absorbed it even now. But it sure feels great!
