Hep C, F0, G1b
« on: December 15, 2015, 09:39:31 am »
Hello guys, was approved for 12 weeks treatment (Harvoni) last week, awaiting my meds to come tomorrow, with F0, so excited and so scared at the same time of the side effects. I was wondering if anyone here have same level of fibrosis, is there any different side effects based on fibrosis of the liver or it really doesn't matter? Thank you in advice.

This probably won't be much help but starting out a F0 is deffinitly a good place to start.
As for the side effects being related to where your score is, I don't think so. From everything I read, the side effets seem to depend on each individual and how they react to drugs. I some how don't think it's related to your Fibrosis but more to your drug tolerance level. Some people have mild effects while others have more harsh effects with roughly the same fibro score.

Good Luck on your upcoming Tx.

There's a Harvoni Side Effects thread with 2774 posts or 28 pages in it. I think you should be able to find an answer, to almost any side effect question in there.

When it comes to HCV, this place is a well of information. Some of the Greatest Minds in the world of HCV gather here.  ;D

The huge thing is that undetected. It's amazing to me how much everything starts dropping once someone goes undetected.I know what you mean about the wings.I think we all feel that way when we gets that news. ;)
