12 week post treatment undetected

Hey guys, I just met with my doctor today and Im still undetected after 12 weeks post Viekira Pak. Just wanted to check in since Ive just been waiting for this news.  ;D

YES DEATHTOHEP!! We just crossed the finish line together! My doctor called this morning & told me I am UNDETECTED after 12 wks post tx! Just processing ...it's only been 5 minutes! Congrats to you & all the people that walked this walk...it has been an honor.

Wooo-hoooo, Rosie!  Congratulations!

I hope to be posting undetected by Wednesday or so too.  But I did get all my other labs online from my GP today. 

Of note - AST: 17  ALT: 22

I am hopeful, but wish my ALT wasn't twice what it was at EOT.  :o  But still, those are some pretty low numbers (much lower than labs from 2006 even!)  And definitely better than my labs at the beginning of Harvoni treatment.

So I'm going with, "victory is kind of a thing now." ;)

My family doctor's nurse just called.

HCV Undetected!!!!!.   ;D ;D ;D  Hard copy is in the mail.

Yeah, so two weeks early.  But!  The concordance between SVR at 4 weeks post-treatment and 12 weeks post-treatment is 98%.  So 10 weeks post-treatment undetectable?  I can't crunch the numbers, but it's a damn sight better than 98%.  I'll take it.

The slight creep up in my AST and ALT means nada.  YES!  And the last month of feeling crappy?  Who knows, who cares.  At least it's not HCV.  ;D ;D ;D

Oh my Goodness!  I am so happy to report a 12 week post TX result...UNDETECTED!!!!!!!!
I was so nervous driving up the hill to the lab to pick up results.  Doubt was setting in, although I kept fighting it!  I burst into tears when I heard the results!!!!!
After 12 weeks aren't most people clear in future follow ups...

Congrats! SVR12 (12weeks after treatment has ended with a not detected result) is considered by most to be cured. The odds of being cured if SVR12 are 99.8%

The old standard of saying cured with the old interferon treatments was SVR24 and some still like that number.

But believe it!

Thank you Rosie, C.F. and Lynn...I'm so excited.  In a state of disbelieve I think.
Now onto taking care of my health so I can live long and healthy for many years.

I picked up a book the other day...kind of morbid title-How Not To Die-  Written by an M.D. all about nutrition...It's really interesting fact based studies on the benefits of ....FOOD!  He puts all this info out there to the public with no monetary gain for himself...kind of cool I'd say :)

Since alot of us are SVR12 now, has anyone else been scheduled for labs & fribroscan @ SVR24?

There is a thread already for 24 weeks post SVR. I posted as SVR24 back in October.

I am having my regular annual appointment in April and will be having my blood drawn in early March so I guess it would be a 10 months post treatment viral load.

I don't know if for me a fibroscan is of much use at this point. My score in Oct 2014 was 27 and I have had cirrhosis for 8 years. I am more interested to see if my platelet count gets back over 100 as it has been between 80 and 90 for the last several years and 150 is minimum normal.

I was going to ask about doing a fibroscan but for myself not expecting much yet anyway.
