One year undetected
« on: February 20, 2016, 10:03:13 pm »
My last labs show undetected 9 months post Harvoni.  I am mentally doing a lot better than the first months after treatment., handling post treatment challenges better.
When I looked for info tonight on some apparent immune issues I'm dealing with, I came across my own post with many replies I had not seen.  Thanks to everyone who took time out to support me.
I've developed a harsh allergy problem I've never experienced, that I'm hoping will sort out soon, hives - eczema - eye problems.
My gastro doctor released me a couple of months ago. I honestly believe all the testing caused so much stress, so I'm reluctant to test further at this time.  Does anyone have any tips to ease these symptom, especially the eye eczema and itching. I've been taking benedril every night.
Thanks to all of you and hope you all are doing better also.

Hi Best,
Congratulations on your 1 year and in my opinion you can relax now.I'm not a doctor but I think you can safely assume you killed the dragon.Once I reach SVR12 in a month or so I'll feel like it's finally over.I'm probably going to ask them to test me at SVR24 because I'm not sure if that's standard practice with the VA.After that I'm just to to request it for my yearly physicals.Congratulations again. :)

Perhaps you'll share your good news? I am looking for people to submit their Hep Stories. Everyone has a story, and you don't need to be a good writer to tell it. We'll help with the story. Submit stories to: http://www.hepmag.com/hep_stories.shtml
