Very well done! Hope it serves as a motivator for someone to get on the Harvoni train, or which ever train their doctor recommends.  I do believe this monster is going to be significantly less active over the next several years now that more effective, tolerable and safer DAAs are finally here. Congrats to your SVR!!! That's my destination.  FT

Thanks Future,
I was in the Viekira car of the Cure Train.I haven't SVR'd yet but I'm positive I did.I'll know about this time next month but I feel certain I did. There's no reason I shouldn't.I'll post as soon as I do.You're going to make it so just keep a positive attitude.I agree with you about this is going to be less of a problem in the very near future, but people are going to have to treat to do it.I've noticed a lot more ads from Gilead on TV about the treatment and that's going to help immensely.Keep us posted on how you are doing.Looking forward to seeing your SVR post.

Thank you Kim and NYC,
I can't say enough about these new treatments.I got through the Viekira with very little problem NYC.After treatment my brain was a bit rattled but that's pretty much gone now.You seem to be following in my footsteps in having almost no sx.I hope it stays that way for you.You and I had the 1b GT going for us in that it's the easiest to cure. We're both going to make SVR12 and be able to put it behind us.Just a bit over 4 weeks and I'll find out for sure.Keep us posted on how you're doing.

A what a great story to share BillT. I'm so glad you did. The more we share our stories the less power HCV has to stigmatise and hurt.

Only one issue with it - grumpy? You? You'd have to be one of the most compassionate and tolerant people here! :)

Congrats. You're now a published author ;)

Good job with your story, Bill. I like your writing style, and I feel ya with respect to the old PEGint+riba torture, which I underwent in '02. I know you know how many times I wanted to throw in the towel just to feel something resembling normal again for a while.
Glad you're done with all that HepC crap now, and it reads like you're doing much better. I just started 24 weeks of Harvoni this past Friday, so I'm on my way - I'll be done just in time for my 66th birthday. 8)

Thank you, Rosa :) So far nothing except fatigue, which I had anyway.

I did a bit of read-back - what a rosy cheerleader you are! 8) Thanks for sending a cheery note my way.

I hope you stay undetected, and your liver improves to the point that you can forget about it.  :)
