16 week bloods harvoni

Hi all,
Quick update, infected 35 yr ago , previous tx  failed twice, started harvoni Nov2015
Finished Jan 2016, 8 wk bloods<12 then 28 more tablets , and 12 week bloods still <12!! V disappointed, was told to re test at 16weeks and don't despair , recieved voicemail off my nurse today and been told I'm UNDETECTED! I'm the worlds worst pessimist! I can't belive it, I'm  not out of the woods yet! But I'm definitely on the right track out!! Godbless and can I take this opportunity to thank the ones who took the time to reassure me when I was down !! Thank you so much ,Pablo

Thank you, I reached undetected with my immune system after being still detectable at week 12 with a reading of <12!! The sensitivity of the text in uk is 12. In the USA is it higher? Which would have put me at undetected at week 8!! Like dragonslayer stated harvoni works very differently from previous treatments! Wonder what my percentages are of staying undetected!!

After 4 weeks ALT 23, AST 15, HCV-RNA UNDETECTED
After 8 weeks:AST 23, AST 11, HCV RNA UNDETECTED
6 weeks post treatment, undetected.
