I just wanted to check in and let you all know that I'm still standing.I've just been busy with a lot of personal things that need to be taken care of.I feel great and everything is fine.I'm going to try to get on more but I still have a few things left to do. :)

Bill, I hope you don't mind that we may be hijacking your thread to turn it into the check-in thread for all of us post-txers with busy lives. I've managed to keep reading a lot of threads but this is the first one I've replied to in a long time, either because I didn't have a good answer to someone's query or because someone else had already given a good answer. It's great to see that the Hep Forums continue to flourish because successive generations appreciate the help they received and therefore give back by reaching out to the latest newbies.

BillT and others, it really is nice to hear when you are cured and doing well for those of us still seeking that dream, so thank you.  I just commented on another thread about this, that it really is nice when we get to read about all aspects of "life after HCV", both the good and the bad.  So glad to hear you're busy and doing well!!  FT

Thank you everyone.It is nice to be able to know this is almost over or over for us now.I come up for my SVR24 tests in a few weeks so I'll post when I get those.I don't mind a bit that the thread gets hijacked so everyone can check in Gnatty.It's great to hear how everyone is doing and knowing that we're finally able to get our lives back.You keep at it FT because this whole thing is worth it. 8)

It is a great feeling FT.I didn't really have problems the whole treatment except the stress the last 2 weeks of it.That was self inflicted.I think a lot of that was because I failed the interferon treatment back in 2004 and wanted this one to work more than anything in the world.I'm glad to hear that you're almost there,and it sounds like you're not having any problems.I'll be waiting to hear about your EOT labs. :)

I know exactly what you mean when you say you wanted your treatment to work more than anything in the world. A life w/o HCV still seems surreal. I'll know in August (12 EOT). FT
