1 year and undetected !
« on: May 02, 2016, 02:10:46 pm »
I just got the results from my yearly followup (10 months since EOT) and Im still undetected!

Ultrasound shows no changes to the liver yet, I was at F3 and my liver was getting a little larger each year, so the doc says if I stay negative I may see a decrease in the size. All labs are normal.

Congratulations Six.Keep in mind that now your liver doesn't have to fight the HCV so that's a huge plus. Also keep in mind that we had the dragon for years so any changes aren't going to be accomplished overnight.Well done my friend. :)

CONGRATS SIXFOOTFOUR !!!

Immediate post treatment I felt worse than before I started. During TX while on harvoni i felt great, more energy etc. for the first 2 months post tx I felt nauseous, loss of appetite, tired or easily exhausted.

All of that slowly went away by 6 months EOT. Since then I feel overall very good, di not have any outright symptoms pre treatment except for VL> 6 mil and elevated AST/ALT as well as F  on biopsy and Fibrosure

Best of luck to everyone.

My MD wants yearly followup for blood and ultrasound

Bill T

That is in part how my MD explained it . Ive had the diease for 45 yrs and it has become normal for my body. o now being rid of it makes for a lot of small changes. Not fighting a constant infection etc

I hope as time goes by Ill continue to feel more what others say is normal

Congratulations and thanks for sharing the great news.  Let us know about further improvements, and/or setbacks.  We're still learning here and getting much more information from actual humans in experience.  Thanks for that.
