Just got call off my nurse after 13 day wait for bloods!! SVR12!!!
Overwhelmed to say the least ! Just one more blood test in 2 months would clarify cured if UND ! Actually thought svr12 was classed as cured!! Oh well still great news!!
I was on 12 wks of harvoni and ribavarin! And tested detected all the way through ! But was clear at 4wk post and present!! Still have sides , fatigue! Neck aches! Migraine, sickly feelin! Slight downbeat at times and right urq discomfort which to be honest is a lot better, hope to keep fit and possibly reverse any damage!! So after 3yrs and 2 horrible failed tx I'm well pleased, thank god,
Good luck to all , best let the wife know now the good news! Thanks to all mods for their time and research,
One happy Pablo

Hi Pablo

Man doctors now do consider SVR12 to be cured the 24 week test is more of a throw back to the interferon days.

As far as I have seen there have been no relapses post SVR12 but getting that SVR24 test is icing on the cake!

Congrats on your cure of hep c!
