Hi Pansy,

It is funny that I noticed that too.  I can't say mine was pale but much lighter than normal for me while on harvoni.  I have been done for 4 days now and my stool is darker.  If it is really pale I would call your Doctor for sure.  Brie

Stool Color Quick Overview

Normal stool color is brown. This is due to the presence of bile in the stool. Normal stool color can range from light yellow to brown to almost black.
If stool is red, maroon, black, clay-colored, pale, yellow, or green this may signify a problem.

Mine was lighter than usual during Harvoni treatment also. Not a problem -- I've reached SVR24. Because I knew doctors only worried about the colors Lynn named, I didn't even mention it to my hepatologist or his nurse practitioner. But if you have time left at your appointment, you may as well see if the doctor knows why taking Harvoni can result in a lighter stool color.
9/29/71 transfusions

ALP 183

Most recent:
VL still UNDETECTED (SVR 102)

Pansy, here's my 2 cents worth on Harvoni stool:  I noticed very quickly the color was the same medium gray-brown every day (and not to be gross, but also the same distinct odor) since on treatment. My last pill is in 2 days, so I'll see what changes next week.  FT

Many thanks, to brie41, Lynne K, FutureThinker, and gnatcatcher, for your replies.   :)

It has helped to know others on Harvoni have had a similar experience!

Congrats to us all, in all our different time levels of success with Harvoni!  :D

My last pill will be 5 days before my last appt., so I may notice a "change" also...    ;D

Thanks, all!
