I need any and all information that might help a friend of mine get her insurance to pay for Harvoni, or a sight she can go to for the purchase of Generic from India.
She is having no luck with either way.

I removed the email from the comment. I appreciate the offer of help. I suggest using an excellent (and free) organization: 800-532-5274 or www.hepatitisc.pafcareline.org

I applied for a grant from Gilead, as my insurance would not pay. This option and the paperwork involved was recommended by my gastroenterologist, as I was a prime candidate for their research. I wrote Gilead a letter about my situation and gave them all of my financial information. I also gave them access to all of my medical records. Four weeks later I was approved. Nine months post treatment, I am still virus free.  Good luck !

Just in case anyone is wondering, U.S. Federal law makes it illegal for any person who does not have a license to write prescriptions to sell or give a prescription drug to another person (21 U.S.C. ยง 841(a))
