1 Year Post Treatment
« on: August 22, 2016, 05:40:01 pm »
Well, got my one year post treatment results today and the Dragon has been slain!

Such a wonderful feeling to know that after 35+ years of living with HCV I will no longer have to worry about it.

Wishing all the very best to all who are on Harvoni and the new DAA's and here is to SVR for all of you

Yup.. For me, it was at that 1 yr svr marker when I finally believed it wasnt going to come back.  However, truth is, any day my palms look a little redder than usual, or I get a slight twinge in my right side, just for a moment, a fleeting doubt crosses my mind, and then disappears and is written off as needless paranoia... Hopefully!!

A big congrats to you!

I know what you mean Dragonslayer! I would get funny feelings in my side, joints would ache some and other odd little twinges and I would be wondering too. Now that I have 52 weeks under my belt I can move forward with confidence that the dragon is indeed dead. Will that stop my little bits of paranoia, probably not because no matter what I am getting older and things will continue to break down as time goes on! :)

'Tis indeed a great feeling to have the 1-year all-clear! Congrats to all of us - and the many more to come. :)
