4 weeks post VP and checking in
« on: January 18, 2017, 12:21:37 am »
My wife had a pretty rough December.  Two surgeries to remove a racket ball sized kidney stone embedded in her right kidney.  Plus she don't do surgery well, as the antastesia makes her sick during recovery.  She toughed it out though and is now stone free and on the mend.

We were in need of some good news.  I got my 4 week post tx labs back, undetected.  LFT's all well within normal range, HMG back to normal range, and I'm starting to notice a bit of overall wellness and energy returning.

While I realize I can't put much stock in this result so soon, I'll take it for what it is... still undetected.   Having not even making it 4 weeks post Harvoni before the virus returned, I'm looking at this as the glass half full.  Fingers crossed; 8 weeks to go until next blood draw.

Fingers crossed for both of you (that there'll be no more kidney stones for the Missus, and no more sneaky hep C varmints for you). -Gnatty
