Hep exposure possibly
« on: August 14, 2017, 09:18:19 am »
I have a 4 month old teething baby but I checked her mouth for cuts/sores and found none teeth are All still under sealed gum
I bumped into an old friend don't know her status
My question is she help my baby for 30 seconds max and for 3-4 of those seconds I believe my baby put her mouth on the girls arm after realising she had a scratch in her arm which I believe was completely healed just pink b4 it goes white scars but my mind has been going above and beyond and now I have convinced myself it was a scab and my baby must have a sore in her mouth somewhere because she is teething can anyone help me and tell me what to do should I get her a hep b vaccine it would be 48 hours after possible exposure if this was not exposure could you please tell me what is using my story I.e blood present open wounds anything apart from obvious like sexual intercourse and sharing needles I can't sleep with worry I feel sick with guilt that I have exposed her to hep b or c or I don't know I did contact gp who said it's not a risk  another health care professional who said my daughter had no entry wounds so it has no way of getting into her blood and as the woman's scratch in question had no blood and I k ow I should believe my dr but I would like to hear from others
Thank you in advance
I appreciate you  ;)
