Exposure through unprotected sex one year ago.
« on: August 22, 2017, 12:20:41 am »
Last year I had unprotected sex with a woman. I can't remember if she bled at all, and I can't remember if there were any cuts on my penis from the sex. I know there wasn't any cuts from anytning else. Should I be worried? Do I need tested? Just for reference, the woman had a baby a few months before and I assume was tested for the virus during her pregnancy.

Wildthing68;
I highly suggest that you have an antibody test to ease your fears of infection. The odds of contracting HCV through sex are extremely low. Also if you have been infected for only a year there might not be any symptoms.
If HCV was spread readily through casual sex then the human race would have died off long ago. Except perhaps in convents and monasteries and even there it might have been devastating. :D

I would be much more worried about the odds of His Majesty DT seeing a second term as president of the US. Even though these odds are extremely low they are still infinitely greater than your acquiring HCV by the means you imagine.

Cheers
