Lab results at 4weeks or after 1st 28 days
« on: November 26, 2017, 07:19:19 am »
Hi everyone, I'm new here. Infected mid 80’s. Genotype 1, I've completed my first 4 weeks on Harvoni and my results came back <1.18. Has anyone else ever had this level and cleared after treatment? Thank you!

There were a few who were weakly detected even at EOT and 4 weeks post treatment and were not detected and declared cured at 12 weeks post.

On treatment testing is of little value except to confirm patient compliance. The only test that matters is the 12 week post treatment test.

You will be fine best of luck

Hi,

Your <1.18 result is in Log form. That viral load result is the same as <15 iu/mL where 15 iu/mL is the minimum level that most VL tests can accurately read. That is a good result after 4 weeks treatment and you are well on your way to a cure. :)

Best wishes for the rest of your treatment.
