I was diagnosed with Hep C while I was in rehab in Houston, TX around February 2014 but had been using intravenous drugs (heroin) for two years prior (I used a shared needle for the first time ever on December 1, 2012). I probably was infected that day which means I have had it for a little over six years now.  I am having a difficult time finding a way to get the meds to put it into remission now that I am clean and sober. I live in Corpus Christi, TX and the Clinic Card here that they give to low income people does not cover anything related to Hep C. Does anybody know how to get the meds in Texas??????

I live in Canada and i wasnt cover by insurance so i bought a generic harvoni from Greg, this guy is wonderful, he has a facebook group, just search for hepatitis c and you should found it, my generic harvoni only cost me around $1200 Canadian ($1000 u.s) two years ago, i heard they are even cheaper, i have been cured since november 2017 and still undetected now, its not a dead sentence, wish you all the best.

Fortunately, there are good patient assistance programs, so hopefully Tommy will get this covered without having to dig into his own pocket.
