mosquitoes
« on: June 11, 2019, 11:46:41 pm »
Summer is here and mosquitoes are coming out. I was at a park tonight swatted a mosquito that landed on my hand, i didnt realize it was full of blood until few minutes later i saw it under the light. The blood didnt come from me as i didnt get bit at the time so it must of been some else in the park. Its New York full of people so could be anyone. What worries me is just few minutes ago i was peeling an orange with my nail and abit of nail bed got split open causing light bleeding under it. I was touching my hands, arms and legs after i swatted the mosquito. Is this a transmission if strangers mosquito blood got on my nail bed?

What you have described is not a method of transmission per the CDC
